Santo’s winning line is reported by Campaign to be: ‘Not made for running. Great for kicking asses.’ Maybe it grows on you.
The compadres in Buenos Aires will have their work cut out on Diesel. The Italian-based company recently split with happening New York integrated agency Anomaly from its global account in the middle of its debut campaign ‘Be Stupid.’
Co-incidentally Anomaly announced today that star copywriter Walter Campbell, famous for the Guinness ‘surfer’ ad filmed by Jonathan Glazer for AMV BBDO, is joining as its London creative head.
Santo recently spread its wings by winning the Nestle Milkybar account from JWT London and defied the sceptics by producing a bright campaign, certainly by Nestle standards.
Will it succeed where Anomaly failed in getting on with Diesel?
