My old chum Stuart Smith today describes the various wheelings and dealings in the Asda marketing department.

A lot of it seems to have been caused by Rick Bendel switching from Publicis to client Asda, to be folowed by other people changing horses.
I don’t know how Stuart knows all this stuff (maybe he ought to get out more) but it’s undeniably fun.
We always thought running a supermarket was simple; good offers and short queues at the check-out.
No such luck it would seem.
