Golden oldie El Tel spearheads Sun’s World Cup campaign

Former England football manager Terry Venables is on good terms with the Sun newspaper these days (he’s a columnist) although it hasn’t always been thus as he’s taken a fair bit of stick from the unreliable tabloid over the years for his business dealings and other matters.

But here he is with another nice little earner (one hopes) showing his singing talents to launch the Sun’s World Cup campaign. Clearly Terry’s choice of football was music’s loss.

Actually it’s a spirited number all round by in-form agency Euro RSCG (and maybe some consolation for the agency being gazumped on the Tory account by M&C Saatchi).

Will Terry give us as a tune when he takes his place as an ITV pundit in the summer?
