AMV BBDO and Leo UK name new chief creative officers

Previoiusly head of design at AMV from 2001 to 2004, he won’t return to the Omnicom agency until January 2027, when he will take charge of the creative and design department, which includes its social and creator unit native@AMV.

Elwood said: “I’ve loved the last six years at Leo… The opportunity to return to AMV BBDO was irresistible. It’s an agency which has always been about incredible talent and outstanding creativity. As part of the BBDO network, the ambition is greater than ever. I can’t wait to get started with Xav and the world-class team he’s building in the UK.”

At Leo UK, Andrew Long has been promoted from ECD to the CCO role at the Publicis Groupe agency, which he joined in 2017 alongside partner James Millers. Millers moved to become an executive creative director at McCann earlier this year.
