AMV deftly fires Cupid’s arrows for Mars’ Galaxy

90 per cent of advertising seems calendar driven these days so now there’s a tidal wave of Valentine’s Day ads, stunts, promotions. Does anybody really care that much about February 14? You sometimes think marketing departments live on a different planet.

Anyway, today we’ve already had Pamela Anderson looking after business herself for Coco de Mer and here’s a young lady deftly avoiding Cupid’s arrows for Mars’ Galaxy, courtesy of AMV BBDO.

Not entirely sure about the ending, where Cupid makes an appearance, but it’s a proper, stylish ad, deftly directed by Juan Cabral.

AMV is one of the few agencies who can do this these days – and should do more of it as it rediscovers its mojo.
