Tony Kaye returns to ads for The Black Farmer

Enfant terrible Tony Kaye (although he’s getting on a bit now) is returning to ads for food outfit The Black Farmer, which is actually owned by black farmer Wilfred Emmanuel-Jones. Emmanuel Jones apparently insisted that Kaye direct The Black Farmer’s TV ad debut – brave man.

Kaye at his best is one of the ad world’s stand-out directors although in his time he’s driven a fair number of people screaming up the wall. If Emmanuel-Jones is smart he won’t have shot this on film, as Tony tends to use a lot of it.
