Dame Helen has a Super Bowl message from her Budweiser sponsor

Actresses of a certain age are always complaining about the lack of opportunities. Not so, presumably, English institution Dame Helen Mirren who seems to be everywhere. Here she is fronting one of Anomaly’s Super Bowl spots for Budweiser, telling 300 million Americans not to drink so much.

That’s what companies do these days although whether or not it’s worth $5m for the airtime (plus Mirren and Anomaly’s fee) is debatable.

Somehow or other I can’t imagine Mirren on her own in a bar, faced with a burger and fries and a bottle of Bud.

But the show must go on. MAA creative scale: 5.
