Beeb sprouts a morale booster with RKCR/Y&R Xmas ad

There’s a widespread preconception that everyone hates Brussels sprouts – so why do we eat so many of them at Christmas?

Anway, an unloved sprout is the star of this year’s Christmas extravaganza for BBC 1, courtesy of agency RKCR/Y&R with animation by Nexus (you may or may not recognise some famous BBC faces).

Is it worth spending money on such an ad when everyone watches the Beeb at Christmas anyway?

I think this comes under ‘morale boosting at the not-quite-broke BBC.’

But nicely done.
