DLKW Lowe launches in-house digital content arm MAKE

We keep hearing that clients want agencies to make stuff as well as commission it and DLKW Lowe in London has fastened on to this with the launch of MAKE, which it describes as a digital content production company.

Among the other agencies venturing into this pool is BBH which has flagged its own plans. BBH is taking space in Welwyn Garden City, the prospective home of its big new client Tesco.

MAKE will be headed by Isaac Bell (below with CEO Richard Warren and head of broadcast Trudy Waldron) and produce online film content, broadcast TV spots, animatics, motion graphics and promotional videos for clients of Lowe’s three London agencies – DLKW Lowe, activation agency Lowe Open and digital agency Lowe Profero. The studio will also pitch for other work. Lowe has already produced some online spots for client The British Heart Foundation.

CEO Warren says: “In MAKE we are formally offering an exceptional in-house digital content production company, responding to our clients’ increasing demand for agile, fast turnaround film content across broadcast, direct and online channels.”
