D&AD shows what it’s made of in W+K call for entries

We haven’t always been kind to London’s D&AD and its awards but Factory Fifteen has made three interesting films for next year’s call for entries (closing in January) called ‘I Wish I’d Done That.’

The films were developed by Wieden+Kennedy London and feature designer Jessica Walsh and two Wiedenites: old man Dan and Iain Tait who abadoned the agency for the delights of Google Creative Labs. Here’s Tait, who appears authentically geeky, enjoying a digital lightbulb. They’re all on the YouTube link.

D&AD precedes Cannes, which steals all the thunder these days. But the non-interview parts of these films provide an intriguing glimpse of the originality and sparkiness that made the awards famous.
