Talking of Scandinavia (which we were, Norway anyway) ambitious network M&C Saatchi Worldwide is opening an office in Sweden, its 27th around the world.
The new agency will be headed by CEO Bjarte Eide (far right) with co-creative directors Martin Cedergen and Patrick Dry and strategy boss Klara Eide (boss Moray MacLennan is in the suit).

With mobile and tablets fast becoming our primary screens, social will be at the core of our offering, leveraging all touch-points in a lean, smart agency model which monetises and measures. Martin, Klara and Patrick represent some of the very best talent in Scandinavia”
M&C Saatchi Worldwide CEO MacLennan says: “This strategic move in Scandinavia further strengthens our global network. The region is home to some of the world’s most innovative brands and talent.”
Scandinavia is the world’s tenth-largest advertising market.

Trust me, I know all about this shit. The secret to pulling eight foot tall, blonde, Swedish girls at the Cafe Opera is to look pathetically British as you drink your hundred quid beer. They feel sorry for you… Plus, they like a bit of “rough” now and again. It’s all in “Confessions of a Mad Man.” Loverrrrllly stuff!
