Cindy Gallop (pictured), who’s English, was as lively as she sounds when she was boss of BBH New York and she clearly still is, judging by her crusade to persuade people to make love like people rather than imitating the choreographed antics of porn actors.

It’s not that Cindy is against sex per se, actually she’s all for it, acknowledging cheerfully that she discovered the delights of younger men (she’s 52) after researching a pitch for an online dating agency. Now she’s starting an online TV version featuring fans showing the way they do it (its only ‘beta’ so far and you have to register). The New York Times describes it as “a kind of YouTube for the erotically unabashed.”
Adfolk spend a lot of time musing over ways of becoming (rich) clients themselves, often in the pub. We don’t know if Cindy will succeed in becoming rich but she’s certainly (momentarily anyway) famous. Some of her detractors would say that was what she was about at BBH New York too but surely that’s being mean.
