UK-based supercar maker McLaren Automotive has appointed SapientNitro as its global digital agency.
McLaren’s decision to assign a new digital agency of record comes as it places renewed emphasis on building the McLaren brand. The company has recently launched the MP4-12C sports car in 18 countries worldwide, and subsequently opened its McLaren Production Centre.
SapientNitro’s work for McLaren Automotive will roll out globally across key regions including Europe, the Middle East, Asia-Pacific and North America including Canada. SapientNitro won the business in a competitive pitch against LBi and Splendid. The McLaren account will be run out of SapientNitro’s London office.
