They seem to be a pretty sonorous lot at Adam & Eve, the London agency best-known for its John Lewis ads.
Now the agency has been charged with the debut campaign for Google+ in the UK, the search giant’s rather flagging rival to Facebook. And A&E (which isn’t an accident waiting to happen of course) has enlisted TV’s Sherlock Holmes star Benedict Cumberbatch to read Shakespeare’s ‘All the World’s A Stage/ Seven Ages of Man’ from As You Like It to chart everyman Tom’s journey through life. Tom obviously shops at John Lewis.
But Benedict makes a good job of it. Does a new(ish) social network site need a bit more fizz and vim though? Interesting that one bit they don’t illustrate is the soldier: “seeking the bubble reputation even in the cannon’s mouth.”
He could write that boy.
