Berkshire Hathaway-owned US auto insurance giant Geico has a long history of sparky advertising and here’s the latest, ‘So Gross,’ from The Martin Agency. Fearless Group’s Jerry Judge said recently that Geico was the client he most admired (Judge’s own Desert Island Ads selection is here).
The connection to insurance is a bit tangential but there you go, Geico and its advertising are so well-known it doesn’t matter. Here’s academic and culture writer Bob Batchelor’s rather extensive deconstruction of the ad.
