Del Campo Saatchi launches ‘The Great Escape’ for award-winning Andes

Much-garlanded Buenos Aires agency Del Campo Nazca Saatchi & Saatchi has produced the latest instalment in its Andes Beer campaign, ‘The Great Escape,’ this time promising to rescue people from events they don’t want to attend so they can go to ones they do – in bars selling Andes. The campaign was staged and shot in the Andes region and the city of Mendoza.

Creative director was Ariel Serkin and the creative team Matias Eusebi, Ammiel Fazzari and Patricio Martinez.

Andes, which is owned by brewing giant AB InBev, won the Outdoor Grand Prix at Cannes in 2010 for its ‘Teletransporter’ ad which featured street booths where Andes fans could phone home with a excuse for being late to various soundtracks including airpots and attacks of the runs.

Like Teletransporter, The Great Escape will qualify for Cannes and other awards in numerous categories as it combines an ad with experiential staging and doubtless other elements that will qualify for Cannes’ ever-increasing number of awards.

Del Campo Saatchi, led by CEO Pablo Del Campo (pictured centre with creative directors Mariano Serkinan and Maxi Itzcoff) was ranked fourth in the 2011 Gunn Report of top-ranking creative agencies. This is the ninth straight year it has appeared in the Gunn Report rankings.
