The BBC is plugging its new iPlayer iPad app with a campaign from BBH New York and celebrated comedy director David Shane of O Positive featuring some of its big stars including Ricky Gervais and the Top Gear Crew (sans Jeremy Clarkson it seems) submitting themselves to an intrusive index finger.
And there’s a game to go with it if you want to poke Ricky Gervais yourself.
All very ingenious, BBH New York came equal top in the Gunn Report’s recent tally of digital agencies and it shows.
One thing has always confused me: how on earth did Apple’s lawyers allow the BBC to register iPlayer?
