Saatchi & Saatchi Los Angeles creates a ‘People Person’ for US Prius launch

It’s people all over the place in the car market at the moment (see today’s Volkwagen story). Saatchi & Saatchi Los Angeles has come up with a new spin for Toyota’s Prius with 18 of them morphing into one “People Person.’

Production was by Eight VFX and The Sweetshop.

The campaign is to launch ‘Prius goes Plural,’ four new variants of the highly successful hybrid car (in LA it’s the fashion to have one to show off your eco credentials while you keep the Ferrari locked away in the garage).

“We were tasked with uniting the diverse Prius community while simultaneously celebrating their differences,” says Saatchi ECD Margaret Keene. “Prius owners are a special kind of consumer: they put their pants on one leg at a time, but they’ve probably thought about how their pants may have impacted their environment.”
