Anomaly’s ‘Be Stupid’ campaign attracted much attention (and won a gong at Cannes) but when the agency and its Italian fashion client parted company abruptly last year it looked as though stupid had run its race.
Not so, new agency Santo from Argentina has taken stupid to a whole new level, creating ‘Diesel Island,’ a community of stupid people which consumers are invited to join.
It even has its own national anthem.
Diesel Island, we learn, is the land of the stupid, the home of the brave. It’s also “the least fucked up country of all.”
