It’s always been a bit of a mystery why Visa (and Mastercard) spend so much on marketing, it doesn’t make a blind bit of difference which one works your credit card does it?

But at least there’s a strategy in this ad by TBWA/Whybin/Tequila in Australia (what, all three of them?); use its paywave product for small purchases up to $100.

A foretaste of the days when cash will be banned.
