Audi puts the boot into Mercedes with children’s book Super Bowl prequel

It’s that crazy time of year when the big beasts of the film world put on their finery and ready themselves to perform in front of a global audience.

No, not the Oscars but the NFL Super Bowl, from Arlington, Texas this year on February 6.

Audi and its agency San Francisco-based Venables Bell & Partners are going for the gold plate big time this year with not just an ad in the Super Bowl itself (featuring film hard man Jason Statham apparently so it’ll be a car chase then) but this prequel for the A8 based on the 1947 children’s book Goodnight Moon.

Eagle-eyed readers will have noted that the ‘goodnight bygone’ parked outside the house is an S-Class Mercedes.
