It’s like the Borgia court at Asda

My old chum Stuart Smith today describes the various wheelings and dealings in the Asda marketing department.

And if anything’s inclined to put you off marketing as a sensible career this is it.

A lot of it seems to have been caused by Rick Bendel switching from Publicis to client Asda, to be folowed by other people changing horses.

Bet they don’t do this in Bentonville.

I don’t know how Stuart knows all this stuff (maybe he ought to get out more) but it’s undeniably fun.

We always thought running a supermarket was simple; good offers and short queues at the check-out.

No such luck it would seem.
